The TechSpun Sock System consists of two socks; an inner liner sock and an outer boot sock. All sock systems require the use of the TechSpun Coolmax liner sock. This liner sock only comes in one weight and is used to wick moisture away from your foot.

The U.S. Wool/Polypropylene outer boot sock is varied according to the ambient temperature and total load to be carried (your weight + additional weight = total carriage weight).

The charts below will help you decide which sock system combination is best suited for your application.

  • Reversed terry nap for better insulation and abrasion protection
  • High-density nap for cushioning to withstand *maximum load conditions
  • U.S. Wool for insulation; Polypropylene for wicking
  • The Extreme system are too thick to be used as replacements for regular socks, you may require a wider or larger boot size that you would normally wear.
